• The Club's COVID Policy has been updated for Winter 2022
• The updated policy reflects current advice and the current legal requirements for isolation & evacuation once a COVID case is detected.
• COVID is present in the ski fields and you may be exposed on the way to the lodge, or while at CPSR, even within the lodge.
• The updated policy is intended to reduce the risk to our members and guests, and complying fully will let more of us have an enjoyable ski holiday.

We cannot be certain that we will be able to resume full lodge occupancy by the time the 2021 winter season starts, so the first round of Confirmations of the winter priority bookings are limited to an occupancy of around 32, as per last season. As such a number of the priority bookings were not successful in the first round, and are now shortlisted for a place if we are able to offer more accommodation.

In the meantime, other applications for accommodation continue to come in. The demand for places can be seen on the availability graph.

• Charlottes Pass is planning on commencing mountain operations on June 26th, and we hope to be opening Pygmy Possum shortly after that date.
• the lodge will be limited to accommodating 32 people or 16 people per wing.
• a COVIDsafe manager will be resident in the lodge for the season.
• Cancellations, notified four weeks ahead of the booking, will be fully refunded or can be put aside as a credit for 2021.
• the club will reduce numbers as necessary on a week-by-week basis, 4 weeks ahead of the booking start dates.
• the ski tube and over snow protocols are unknown and are subject government review and rules.

• The 2020 annual fee subscription is $110 including GST and is unchanged from 2019
• The fees are due by 31 March 2020. Your volounteer fellow club members will really appreciate it if you pay promptly.
• The membership will be deregistered and a late penalty will be strictly applied if fees are not paid before 1st June. Deregistered memberships have their member privileges suspended, impacting any future bookings already made and their use of storage at the lodge. All fees in arrears must be paid before the membership can be reregistered.
• If a member fails to pay subscription fees for a period of 5 years then his or her membership becomes null and void and the membership will be absorbed by the club.

The smooth operation of Pygmy Possum Lodge depends on the dedicated members and friends who attend the biannual work parties - one in October and the other in March or April, prior to the winter. Tasks include building maintenance and repair, stocktaking and stocking of the food store, kitchen and other housekeeping tasks. The next work party will be from 29/03/2020 to 05/04/2020 (Sunday to Sunday).

If you would like to spend some time in the Snowy Mountains attending the work party, please email to maintenance@eloueraskiclub.asn.au indicating

Sections of Kosciuszko National Park have been reopened, but areas which have been burnt or have ongoing fire suppression operations remain closed.

Pygmy Possum lodge will be open again from Sunday 26th January 2020.

Check with https://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/alerts/alerts-list to see which walks and areas are currently closed or open.

Due to the cancellation of building and maintenance works this summer, the lodge has plenty of availability between 16th Feb and the 1st March.

• Building works essential for fire safety, and to work towards compliance with current regulations.
• New front door and a digital entry system. Door code for entry to be sent to Lodge captains instead of relying on Australia Post for keys!

• Major washing and cleaning. Some cleaning efforts were hampered by the dwindling water supply in the village at the start of the week, but by the end of the week rain had fallen and the restrictions were lifted. In the meantime much laundry was done in Jindabyne.

• The 2019 members annual subscription rate is $110 per membership
• The annual subscription is not payable in accommodation points.
• A late fee of $55 will apply if the 2019 subscription is not paid by 1st June 2019.
• Members with fees outstanding for 2018 have been deregistered. To re-register members need to pay the arrears of $55 2018 fees plus the $55 reregistration fee.

• Deregistered memberships cannot be placed on the for sale list.
